Hello Again!
Today's post I am hoping to simply discuss some aspects of the blog with all of you. As I have quickly gained quite a following I want to make sure that you can all get the most out of this blog as possible.
Therefore I have some questions that I want to ask you!
But before I ask you any questions, I want you to know that I will take every answer into consideration because they mean a lot to me.
So here go the questions:
- Would you like to see posts on a set schedule? I have thought about this quite a bit, on one hand I kind of like the element of surprise. Not knowing what will be posted next. But, on the other hand it would be nice to know what to expect on which day. So let me know what you would think.
- Would you like to see monthly favorites? I have pondered the idea of possibly posting monthly favorites. It would also be nice for you to know what I've been enjoying so that you have an idea of what to buy.
- What type of posts would you like to see in the future? I still have quite a number of posts in mind that you will see in the near future but, I would like your input if there is something you would want to see. If so, let me know.
I would love to hear what you have to say in the comments down below as your opinion matters to me and to the future of this blog.
Depending on how this post does I think I may do something like this more often so that my readers can have more input on the blog!
Thank You again for everyone that has started following me on Bloglovin', it means so much to me.
Thank You for reading and I can't wait to read the comments.
-Laura
Glad to see you're asking for our input! :)
ReplyDelete1. I think both scheduled and random posts are great! During the school year, scheduling posts was a good way for me to keep up with my posts and I managed to post 5 times a week. Now it's summer so I'm more laid back :)
2. I love reading monthly favourites! They're so fun and interesting...or you could do it once a week like me- it's a great way to recap the week!
3. I really like outfit posts, but if you're not into that kind of stuff that's okay! Can't wait to read more from you!
Keep up the great work!
xx

1. I enjoy having scheduled posts so I can check back each day and expect certain posts from people but also having random ones between is good as well.
ReplyDelete2. I LOVE reading monthly favorites!!!!!!!
3. I really like posts that you can't find on every single blog so anything unique is always an eye catcher for me!

1. I like spontanious blogposts but on the other hand it might be easier for you to keep up with your posts if they are scheduled.
ReplyDelete2. I love monthly favourites. I think doing them would be a great idea (:
3. More DIYs would be really fun and also outfit posts!
Until next time! // Charlotta

I looove spontaneous blog post because it's just more natural! I check my blogs daily so that I can make sure I don't miss a beat, but on the other hand I do follow blogs that only post on Sundays so I do look forward to those as well!
ReplyDeleteAlso monthly favorites are my favorite!!! Who doesn't love them, and it gives me a chance to see what you like and to see what we have in common!
Thank You for the comment, Carey! I'm glad you also like monthly favorites.

I prefer spontaneous posts as I've recognised it is quite hard to post on a schedule as I never stick to it!
ReplyDeleteMonthly favourites are a plus!
More food posts would be great!
I'm glad you liked the food posts, more will certainly be coming your way! Thank you for the feedback!

. I think scheduled monthly posts are fine but if your stuck for something to say one month dont worry its not the end of the world. I think variety is the key to keeping people interested but I am a newbie so still finding my feet.

Ehi Laura :) Good idea to ask your followers opinion!! So here is what I think..
ReplyDelete1. That's a hard question to answer, cause both of the choices are good. At the beginning I used to randomly write my posts without anything scheduled. But I realized that sometimes I wanted to post something but I had no ideas. What worked for me is to mix the two things: I now have wednesday and sunday with scheduled post, and the rest of the week is "free". In this way, I know that at least two times a week a will be posting something, and I can even do the post before and just scheduling the publication (not sure if that's the right way to say that, I hope you understand). I choose two photography post for this purpose, since they're more quick and easy to do. One is just a photo of the week, which I choose between my digital and anolgic photos, and the other one is an instax picture. During the rest of the week I publish whatever crosses my mind. I realize that in this way I've been publishing more than before. I'm now trying to do also another photography post every week (with more thant one photo, like my "going for a walk" post), but for now I didn't chose a day to post it, I just do it whenever I want. In this way I know I have to do something with my blog, but I still feel free.
You could chose one (or more) days to do a scheduled post, and even decide other days where you can do a random free post (so you will be able to organize your week).
2. Yes yes YES please!!!! I would LOVE to see mothly favourite! What I like about those, is when they are a bit unique... Like.. instead of just showing products that you like, maybe you could also do your favourite song or food at the moment, or new blogs to follow and stuff like that. I was actually thinking about doing something similar on my blog as well.. but I still have to think about it... :P
3. Your blog is already so special that I would love to read anything you want us to read! :) Just keep making posts that are yours and they will be great!
Also, a good tip that I read from another blog, is that it can be good to always have a few posts on your drafts, so that if you need/want to post something but you don't have any ideas, you can always publish one of them.
Sorry for the long comment... :P

1. I also like the element of surprise! I don't blog on a schedule and I think I would find it extremely difficult to, due to the nature of my blog. If you want to do it on a schedule for your own peace of mind, then go for it, but I don't think it really matters to me :)
ReplyDelete2. I absolutely love reading monthly favourite posts! Go for it :)
3. When it comes to future posts, I just look forward to seeing what you are interested in and know about - I don't really have any recommendations because I followed you because I enjoy what you do. Anything you write about would be interesting to me :) as long as your blog is just 'you', I think it will continue to be successful. Don't write about anything you're not comfortable with!
Loving your blog :) and thank you for the comment last week on my blog, and the follow on bloglovin', i really appreciate it!

1. I think having a set schedule is nice for us bloggers, because then you can think ahead of time on what you are going to post and make sure your not slacking off. (I'm not saying you have ever slacked off before or anything.) Honestly It's exciting when you see a new post after not knowing if they were going to post. So what I do is I try to post every single day, except for two days of the week because I honestly do not have time to post every day. So that's just and idea.
ReplyDelete2.Do monthly favorites! :)
3. I love diys and I think most people do so maybe do more of those?

That would be fun to see something like a surprise, but I rather prefer to post without schedule or something.
ReplyDeleteI would definitely like to see montly favourites. I just love to see what people hhave been loving through the month, as it makes me sure, that those products are good!
I have to say I loved the DIY garland. Maybe some other DIYs? I love making some new stuff that other people came up with :)

Schedule posts are not really necessarily in my opinion. Just as long as they're consistent. Monthly favorites would be great!

1. Yes and no, Its nice to see consistent posts, but no, ddont post anything half- heartedly, only post when you really want to, maybe you could just aim for a certain quantity of posts per week/ month?
ReplyDelete2. Yes, I love seeing favourites!
3. Anything that you enjoy writing is lovely to read, like I said, dont write half- heartedly, so anything you enjoy writing is lovely to read, I love anything you post!

1. I think the idea of a schedule is nice :) But not a detailed schedule more of a little tip for yourself as of what to write about for example. Monday could be something fashion related and Wednesday could be an opinion piece but its a broad catagory so that if you arnt really feeling a particular thing that you have lots of other options within those catagories. Sorry if thats hard to follow.
ReplyDelete2. Yes pleaaaase! I love favourites <3
3. Whatever your in the mood for :) You've a great writing style and you always make your posts super interesting so whatever comes to mind just go with it ;)
Hope that helps haha

Hi there! While I'm not partial to the idea of a set "schedule", I think doing monthly favorites would be SUPER cool!! That's such a fun idea and I think that would be just the right amount of structure to leave you some wiggle room to post whatever, whenever!
ReplyDeleteI think anything you post will be just lovely! I agree with the above comments and will just say that keep up posting like you do and it will surly be great!
Hope that helped! I look forward to more posts from ya!
Best :D

I always love DIY posts! :o)
ReplyDeleteAlso, scheduled posts are nice, but I don't expect them because I'm a very busy person myself. Sometimes, there'd be a week where I'd post daily, and then there'd be times when I can post only once weekly. So, I can't really expect other bloggers to be on a schedule, lol.

I would love monthly favourites and definitely more DIY's - but that's just me. At the end of the day whatever suits you really, that'll mean the posts are the best they can be!
